Smart ports and terminals
- The development of seaports
- New challenges and solutions for intermodal transport
Polish ports, which are becoming more and more meaningful in Europe, play an important role in the transport and logistics system. Thus, investments in port infrastructure, such as the construction of an external port in Gdynia or of the Central Port in Gdańsk, and in line infrastructure (roads, rail) are gaining on significance. Due to Poland’s location in the network of European corridors TEN-T, it may be concluded that the dynamics of turnover in Polish ports will continue to grow. More frequent reloading of containers affects the growth of ports and of intermodal transport, which will also be discussed during the session.
