W 3 - Supply chain controlling based on practical application of the SCOR model

Supply chain management is oriented towards the delivery of products which are competitive in the market and satisfy customer needs, at the same time achieving the required efficiency of assets and capital of an enterprise. SCOR is a model encompassing complex performance measurements and intentional development of sourcing, production, distribution and product return within the supply chain, at the same time taking into account the final cost level, turnover and profitability of assets and engaged capital. The SCOR model, regularly updated on the basis of best practices and experiences of managers responsible for supply chain management worldwide, represents a significant value and benchmark for methods of planning and control of operational processes in companies.

The aim of workshops is to present practical cases regarding control of supply chain processes, using a number of operational measures in the management of sourcing and purchasing, warehousing, production forwarding, transport and stock-keeping processes. However, measurement results are a basis for further activities related to the planning and organization of material flow processes in the supply chain. The application of controlling tools in supply chain management processes is to demonstrate the effect of operational decisions on the enterprise’s business performance.
