| Sesion B3 - Safe and sustainable transport |
| Commodity transport is one of the major branches of Polish and European economies, Analyzed in a broader logistically-oriented context, transport is a determining factor for the exchange of goods. It is also a significant cost-driving element and, especially recently, a factor substantially affecting the natural and social environment. This is why the pursuit of sustainability in transport is one of the greatest challenges of our time. It is obvious that the impact of transport on areas enumerated above is not only caused by transport vehicles themselves, although they also require initiatives to develop new economical and ecological programmes. The impact is much more complex and related to advanced innovative logistics solutions and IT support. The session will also involve a discussion of selected issues concerning broadly understood safety in transport. |

Experienced in evaluating and analysing costs in road transport; long-term experience in holding the position of the President of the Management Board in transport companies and automobile dealership. |
