The 11th edition of the Polish Logistics Congress LOGISTICS, the largest event in Central and Eastern Europe integrating the logistics community, is scheduled to take place in Poznań, on 16-18 May 2012.
The previous edition of the Congress, held in 2010, gathered together over 780 participants who listened to a total of 70 presentations in nine themed sessions, visited five enterprises and took part in four workshops prepared specifically for logisticians. The Exhibition accompanying the Congress created an opportunity to see products and services offered by over 50 businesses.
Partners and speakers of the previous Congress included Quantum, Transporeon, Chep, Comarch, Dachser, EPAL, Raben, SDI, Silesian Logistic Centre and Slimstock, Danone, DB Schenker, Deloitte, DHL, FM Logistic, Metro Group, ORLEN SA, Procter&Gamble, Real, representatives of GS1 and European Commission as well as many renowned science and economy experts.
The programme of the Congress features:
16 and 17 May 2012 – two plenary sessions and nine themed sessions
16 May 2012 – formal LOGISTICS party
17 May 2012 – enterprise visits (arvato, Bridgestone, GlaxoSmithKline, Imperial Tobacco, Panopa, Unilever – to be confirmed)
18 May 2012 – four logistics workshops (Warehouse Management, Transport Management, Inventory Management, HR Management)
16 and 17 May 2012 – LOGISTICS exhibition 2012
Participation in the Exhibition is open to all providers of logistics services, warehouse solutions and technologies; IT companies; suppliers of hardware and software for automatic identification; logistics centres; ports; institutions educating logisticians; mass media and all those who are interested in topics related to the logistics sector. The Exhibition accompanying the Congress is the only platform which brings together so many entities that are either involved or interested in logistics services.
